Cassie graduated from the Wesleyan College Nursing School in 2017. She went on to obtain both her Master’s of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner and her Registered Nurse First Assist Certification from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has spent most of her nursing career in orthopedics and surgery, most recently in Perry Outpatient Surgery at Houston Medical Center. She also served in the United States Air Force as a Surveillance Radar Technician on JSTARS aircraft.
When asked why she loves what she does, she said, “I love what I do because every day offers a fresh reminder of the profound impact I can make in the lives of my patients. It’s in the grateful smiles of those I have helped, the challenges that push me to grow, and the personal connections that enrich my spirit.”
