With roots in Central Georgia, Dr. Marcus Weldon is proud to be a practicing physician, serving the community he was born and raised in. He graduated from the University of Georgia, with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Microbiology. Dr. Weldon went on to Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia where he also completed his internship in Internal Medicine. His Residency and Fellowship were both completed at Augusta University, where he served as Chief Fellow in the Department of Hematology/Oncology. Dr. Weldon became interested in oncology during medical school and his interest grew during clinical rotations with a variety of oncologists. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
