Morgan graduated from the Wesleyan College Nursing School in 2016. After graduation, she worked at The Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital before joining Central Georgia Cancer Care as a nurse. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from Georgia College and State University in May 2019.
A native of Macon, Morgan feels she’s found her “home” in adult oncology and loves the patients we serve. “Everybody knows somebody affected by cancer. Cancer doesn’t discriminate. I enjoy working in oncology because we don’t focus simply on treating a disease, but treating the whole person-body, mind, and spirit. I especially enjoy the long-term relationships that we develop with our patients, often seeing them multiple times a month. It allows us to really know them, their families, things they enjoy, and we’re able to celebrate victories with them- whether it’s the birth of a new grandbaby, celebrating a last chemo treatment, or singing happy birthday to them.”
